Charleston residential roofing

Roof repair and replacement for coastal conditions.

Charleston roofs face strong sun, humidity, wind-driven rain, and seasonal storms. T.E.C. inspects the roof and explains whether a focused repair or a planned replacement makes more sense.

What a roofing evaluation considers

We look at shingle or panel condition, flashing, penetrations, roof-to-wall transitions, visible decking concerns, ventilation, drainage, and evidence of wind or water damage. The recommendation should match the actual condition of the roof.

02

Material and assembly options

Projects may include architectural or designer asphalt shingles, standing-seam or other metal options, synthetic underlayments, water-protection membranes, ventilation components, and fastening details selected for coastal exposure.

03

Repair or replacement

Localized damage can sometimes be repaired. Widespread wear, repeated leaks, installation problems, or an aging roof may make replacement more practical. T.E.C. documents the condition and explains the work before it begins.
